Something else I was always told is you need to move out of your parents house when you graduate or else you’re a loser. Many Asian and European countries do not leave their family home just because they’re going to university. Living with a relative (if you have that option) is a great way to save money and be able to save for your own home. I would much rather be a homeowner in my Lana Del Rey Smoking Elizabeth Woolridge Grant T-Shirt it is in the first place but early 20’s than rent my whole life. Here’s another thing that we were told, you have to start thinking about what you want to do when you grow up. Once you graduate and start college you need to have some sort of idea what you’ll want to do. Back to other countries though, most have their kids go have fun and tour wherever they want. Life is about experiences. How can anyone expect an 18 year old to know what they’re going to want to do. I always wanted to do law enforcement and now I’m so glad I didn’t. I would’ve been miserable doing that. I’m still able to help others but I’m doing it in a different way.

I’m convinced we are told so many things that are wrong and that’s why so many young Americans are having mental health issues. We were told all our lives one “truth” only to learn none of it was actually true. You don’t need to have a credit score to do things. You don’t need to get married or stay single for that matter to be happy. There is no one size fits all. We are unique and different. Society tries to fit all of us into some box but you simply can’t because not all of us are designed to fit into those roles. The truth is that a college education truly only benefits about 20% of people, yet we push and push college as the Lana Del Rey Smoking Elizabeth Woolridge Grant T-Shirt it is in the first place but end all, without any real guidance. This leaves an over saturated market of college grads with no real direction or goals.
