Times have drastically changed but mindsets don’t easily follow suit. “I got kicked out at 18 and I was fine! I’m going to do it to my kid! It’s the Lana Del Rey Photo Shirt Additionally,I will love this way!” Yet literally everything in the world has changed to such an unrecognised degree. It’s the other way around. When you turn 18 you want independence and to set out and start a life. And to party. Not gonna lie. I was never kicked out. I could go back right now at 35 years old with a husband and baby in tow and my parents would welcome me with open arms. I could literally live with my parents until the end of time and they wouldn’t complain. Tbh it was rare if I had a friend who’s parents kicked them out at 18. Now if they’re disrespectful to their parents then that is the reason why. But I get along with my parents so I’m welcome anytime. I could just pop up with a suitcase like, mom I’m Moving in and she would say “yay! Here’s a room!” I am from the US. Kicked out at 16. Finished high school living with a friend and working nights to pay rent. Graduated and leased to own my first home. I’m 31 now and it was probably the best thing that happened to me. Made me grow up and taught me responsibility. Not easy though and I experienced a lot of poverty before I learned my trade and started my own low voltage company after 12 years of apprenticeship and licensing work.

They do not truly love their kids. They are sick of having to legally take care of them for nearly 2 decades, or I have a 19 year old daughter who is turning 20 next month. Her and her 17 year old brother will live with us as long as they want. Both are attending university/college, one is going for a doctorate and the Lana Del Rey Photo Shirt Additionally,I will love this other for probably a Masters. I have an acquaintance, a woman, that lived with her dad her whole life until he died, she is now 77 years old and her dad was 99 when he died last year. Maybe some Americans kick their kids out at 18, but I don’t know anyone that was or that kicked their kids out ever, they usually move out of the home on their own when they are ready. There are 330,000,000 people in America, with immigrants from every nation, to expect any kind of universal cultural behavior from an American is an example of ignorance. I have Indians, Chins, Nigerians, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and other nationalities in my neighborhood. Each ethnicity brings their own flavor to the American stew/melting pot. some people just can’t carry their kid until they are almost 30. I was lucky to live with my parents until 24 (also from Europe) but I was a little ashamed after 20 because I stayed so long.
