sometimes you can get furniture after hotels use it, because they auction it off after a certain period of time. if you go on Wayfair, there’s a search filter option for commercial grade. So when you are searching for things, if you tick that box, it will yield products that are suitable to sustain more use. I personally rent my vacation home, meaning its furnished very comfortably, I’ve been very fortunate here in Colorado, the Kylie Minogue The Greatest Hits Collection Shirt in other words I will buy this places I have rented have also been true family vacation rentals and very comfortable. However I have rented a few out of state which I knew were not vacation rentals and were less than comfortable, I made sure to let the hosts know in private notes what needed improved on (things like the sofa being 200 ft away from the tv, the tv on a wall not facing the bed, the sofa being hard, there being no access to extra blankets, not providing coffee, etc.). I am very picky now and only select ones with caring owners. We recently rented one in Tuscany, the host was not using it as a vacation rental, but stopped by everyday to check on things and clean the pool, it was a fabulous place, the host truly cared.

Please leave those notes in your public review. We all rely on reviews to make our choices and knowing the Kylie Minogue The Greatest Hits Collection Shirt in other words I will buy this details makes a difference. This was the true intent of the platform. We do the same, we rent our beach house when we can’t go so the place is furnished to our standards. We use the same bedding and charm tp as all our guests. That’s the key! Renting someone’s personal or vacation home, not an investment property managed by a corporation. They typically have the better furniture, linens, comforts of home, and a stocked kitchen to prepare a full meal. A host who rents their home is also more able to answer questions you have about the home and what to do in the community. Rental arbitrage hosts: The margins are probably thin and it’s only about today’s profit, so maximizing said profit at all cost is the highest priority Management companies working for remote / hands-off hosts: Similar motivations as above, they’re in it to maximize profit Owner/host/operators: Some likely bought at the top of the market and had to make ends meet between very high mortgage, furnishing the place, and keeping up with the accelerated rate of furnishings replacement. There are probably other hosts who started out with the best intentions and bought decent quality things, only to have them broken/stained/stolen/thrown out by negligient guests. So knowing that even nice stuff wasn’t going to last them long, they went for the cheaper stuff the next time around. I’m sure I’m missing other motivators for what you’re seeing, and not all hosts go that route. But ultimately it has to make sense for the bottom line. For owner/host/operators there’s the added incentive that the property will likely appreciate over time, so operating with minimal or no profit can make sense at times. For category 1 and 2 that’s a non-starter proposition.
