J. Crew has most of their linen items in black every summer. I sew some of my own clothing and cannot recommend Baird McNutt linen enough. The weight, quality, and finish is so good for the price point. I cannot for the life of me get the linen to soften up after at least 2 years of regular washes and soaks – they are scratchy, stiff, and the cut is off for my body (XL is tight in the shoulders and bust but 15+ in of extra on the waist and more in the hips? I’m a size 12-14 w a C cup). For my money I like Uniqlo’s linen best though their sizing can be weird. I haven’t tried a lot of the Etsy brands like Little Women. Mostly I recommend vintage and making your own. Linen is really fun to work with and a lot of popular styles right now are pretty easy to make. Historic costume fabric retailers sell the best linen hands down, nothing I can buy pre-made has come close in comfort or quality.

Oh hey, you’ve phrased some of the Kyle Pitts Atlanta Scream American football tight end for the Atlanta Falcons T-Shirt but in fact I love this reasons why I put Son de Flor as relatively lower quality linen than other Lithuanian brands. Brand new Son de Flor linen is quite scratchy…. I cheated with white vinegar treatment. That and I prefer to wear my dresses and linen blouses after starching and ironing. Ironing smooths out the pokey fibres. I also found that Son de Flor dress has to be starched otherwise it will quickly develop wrinkles. Fortunately the circle skirt design ‘hides’ well the wrinkles in the folds of the skirt. If you’re looking for some cool black linen stuff, you should totally check out the Wide Black Linen-Viscose Pant or Balloon Shaped Linen Sleeveless Dress. Definitely worth checking out if you want some good linen clothes.
