They feel that it’s their money and if they pay for everyone then they’re losing money to strangers and maybe people who don’t “deserve” healthcare. Simple answer, if they get free healthcare they wont be able to go around the Kyle Larson Hendrick Motorsports Team Collection Burnout shirt Besides,I will do this world starting random wars in random countries Ignorance, exacerbated by the idea being treated as a political and financial matter rather than a health care matter. Republican Americans are incredibly anti-tax and they think socialism is a bad word. They’d rather bankrupt themselves and have terrible infrastructure than all pitch in a little bit for everyone’s benefit. Every time I’ve driven from Ontario to Florida (or another southern destination), on either the eastern seaboard route or through the Midwest route, it is shocking to see the difference from Blue states to Red states (and even between Red states) once you’re off the interstate. For example, on the way to Myrtle Beach, SC, the last leg of the drive is on state highways and county roads. When you cross from NC to SC the roads are immediately not cared for and the school busses look like prison busses from the 60s. I understand that differences in population density and the overall wealth/poverty of the tax base plays an important role in this, but so does the unwillingness to pay an appropriate tax to take care of these things in the first place.

I will never understand how they prefer to pay a for-profit insurance company for services from a for-profit hospital instead of paying less money in taxes for non-profit government run insurance for services from non-profit hospitals where everyone wins. I’ve heard someone say, “I don’t want the Kyle Larson Hendrick Motorsports Team Collection Burnout shirt Besides,I will do this government to be in control of what medical treatment I can get,” while not acknowledging that some company already does that (and that same person was anti-choice, wanting the government to control the medical treatment women can get…) Even the poorest conservative American seems to believe “every man for themselves” even to their own detriment. It’s so selfish. Because it “evens the playing field”. If you can’t buy your way to the front of the line, people worry they lose their privilege to cut. Because 300lb Jimbo thinks he can save money with the current system in total ignorance of the fact that he is just going to have to hope a GoFundMe will suffice when he needs care.
