If I’m misunderstanding what r/antiwork is actually all about (as it seems), then all I can say is sorry, and propaganda is indeed a hell of a thing. Fr. This whole “nobody wants to work” shpeel is infuriating. I want to work, I just also want to be compensated for working in a currency that doesn’t start losing value the Kung Fu Panda 4 Characters Textless Poster Logo Two Sides Shirt but in fact I love this second it’s handed to me, in an amount that allows me to have hobbies outside of work, meet my basic living needs, and save so that when I get to the point where I can no longer work, I still have access to those things. What I don’t want to do is like, work 60 hours a week across multiple jobs, for an amount of money that barely covers my current living expenses, while having no free time nor the money to do anything enjoyable with that free time if I did have it, all while being told I’m lazy and entitled for being unhappy with that situation. Exactly! I want to work, but I don’t want to be abused by bosses with no recourse if I want to not be homeless. The work isn’t the problem for me, it’s the power imbalance.

They will have to start manipulating society and the economy back to something that puts money in people’s hands so they can keep making money. Yep, I’m a video editor that used to have passion for making videos. I think I’m actually just burnt out and will one day get that passion back but for now I don’t love it. Unfortunately that’s usually how it goes. No matter how much you love a job eventually doing it for 8 hours a day will wear you down.
