Honestly not sure if i agree, going through it normally in my first run all bosses felt like they had appropriate hp(not you fire giant),maybe it was your specific build? Because i woudn’t call them squishy some i would even say that have a bit too much hp such as malenia, who in my view has too much hp for a boss who heals with every hit plus deals a lot of damage Hes a boss in Dark Souls 3, people compare him to Elden Ring fights a lot because he is so high quality he tops all if not most fights in the Kiss my ace pun players coach player racket ball love funn tennis shirt Apart from…,I will love this series. People thought Elden Ring was going to deliver a fight to dethrone him or other spectacular fights but in my opinion none have. Well Gael was the final boss of the final DLC of the final Dark Souls game, and generally bosses in FromSoftware’s DLCs are better, Artorias, Alonne, Burnt Ivory King, Friede, Midir, Gael, just to name a few.

I really hope we get cooler bosses in the Kiss my ace pun players coach player racket ball love funn tennis shirt Apart from…,I will love this DLC because even if Malenia is already a really cool boss, she’s nowhere near Gael’s level of cool. Gael is like Blaidd, without the personality, if Blaidd helped you with every boss you came across, turns hollow trying to fulfill his purpose and wrecks all of everything. And his boss fight happens to be cool as fuck without any of the instakill bullshit. Played a couple different characters. Want to be clear with these criticisms, I’ve played DS1 and DS3 once each to get through them. I’m not a DS stan or Fromsoft stan or anything, and you don’t have to agree with what I’m saying: A decent chunk of the design in this game feels like it’s purposefully obtuse for the sake of being “different” and “difficult”.
