Thank you, I appreciate the Killin It since 1978 Shirt and I love this detailed response. Thankfully (I guess?) the only major risk we have for transit is a seizure, but she’s not had one yet as far as I’m aware. But that is the first sign of things becoming truly severe. Other than that it’s primarily pain and general weakness / fatigue right now. That’s why we’re trying to go sooner rather than later. We’re going to look in to private transport but I doubt we’ll be able to afford it as the treatment alone was cripplingly expensive. Others have said there are direct trains, so we’re currently looking in to that option and will call the train lines to see if they’re able to make special arrangements for her condition What I think you need is a private medical transport to Germany. Look for companies like

I would just take the Killin It since 1978 Shirt and I love this longer route either by train or by car. Make a trip out of it. Enjoy the trip while you arrive at Munich Can you rent a camper van? It would give her more space within the vehicle, and the ability to change her position frequently. You can get a long-distance ambulance, do a quick google for “patient transport” or “patient repatriation”, these are the kinds of services you’re looking for. Usually they’re quite comfortable, and come staffed with a nurse, a comfortable bed, and the drivers are trained paramedics. Expensive, but it’s going to be a lot less risky than a flight in your situation. If you’re mother is not requiring active, constant treatment, you could definitely also just look into first-class train travel — should be quite easy from the UK to Munich.
