You’re going to get your blood drawn. It involves a small needle (smaller than donating blood if you’ve done that) being inserted into a vein. You’ll feel pain, but it should easily be within a very tolerable level. On top of that, there’s a million things that you could catch early by having routine bloodwork done, and a lot of those could do more than hurt physically. You’ll be ok even if it hurts a little bit. Try your best not to move/tense up. Hope everything goes well for ya! Some clinics will even let you watch something on your phone. My son had to get blood drawn (age 9 0r 10) & the nurse encouraged him to watch his phone and not what she was doing. It didn’t hurt as much as he was expecting There is research where they determined that looking away from the site of pain reduces the pain felt. And that looking at the site through a magnifying glass makes the pain worse. Human brains are weird and fun. This reminds me of all the times I’ve had a cut or scrape that went unnoticed for I don’t know how long with no pain whatsoever. Until I actually saw it.. Then it suddenly started hurting like a bitch.
