This was exactly my thought. Even when I’m irritated I don’t take it out on the Kenny Omega He’s Come To Collector Shirt and I will buy this little guys, unless they’re assholes to me. Worked tech support for quite a while, ie. helping people over the phone getting their internet back on etc, and… No, not really, most people are actually kinda nice. Of course you had a few occasional assholes each days, but most people behaved themselves – one of the most common phrases I heard was “Sorry I know I sound angry, but please understand it’s not you personally I’m angry at!” – which honestly is fair enough. Then again, I also live/work in Sweden – We’re not that big on anyone thinking that they are “better” than others, esp. not based on their occupation. We don’t really use titles like “doctor”, “professor”, “phd” etc – anyone presenting him or herself as such in a social setting would be considered a bit strange in the head, and we generally use first name when talking to or about people, even when talking to your teacher, boss or professor.

Idk it depends on the Kenny Omega He’s Come To Collector Shirt and I will buy this job, I’m a bar tender, boat captain and a ski instructor people are really nice to me. When I worked for att not so much. Granted it was me providing a big Corp service vs providing my business. Every single day I probably get at least 2 people who want my job taken away because I ask them for information that I need to assist them. I’ve gotten responses of “my word isn’t good enough” “Do you even understand English” “I’ve been called a women even though I’m a man and informed them of such. Even things like “bye Felicia” is now common. I’m not sure what happened to people but Ive done customer service for over a decade and the lack of mutual respect is just gone nowaday.
