Wikipedia is a generally reliable source for becoming more personally informed … but you can’t really rely on it for serious research purposes. For very basic information, like dates, Wikipedia is often enough. For a correct and nuanced understanding, it’s not. I also want to add that there’s major differences between languages. It can give you points to research, but you’ve still got to go and research the stuff at other sources, to confirm that it’s true.
