Asians have the notion that sleeping with a fan will kill you, and her calling you fat just fits the profile. Naw, fuck that… either need to come up with a compromise or you guys just aren’t compatible. Earplugs hor her, or separate sleeping arrangements or something… Me and past S/O have been the same. I run REALLY hot at night to the point where the a/c is at 68 or lower AND I use a fan. They either get it, sleep in another room, or she was never worth it and we split… Unless you’re the size of a smurf, those 9 pounds won’t be the difference between being able to sleep with or without a fan I need a fan both for noise and comfort. I run very hot especially while sleeping so I use one even in the dead of winter. My husband doesn’t love it but he’s gotten used to it over the years. He needs to fall asleep to tv which I’m not a fan of but I tolerate it so we’re sorta even. As a girlfriend of someone who runs hot at night and needed a fan/AC, I HATED the fan (the air blowing on my skin) but agreed to put up with AC and lower the room temp a bit. My body adjusted after a while and now we both sleep comfortably.

Your gf calling you fat is not okay, I would confront her about that. The fan situation is probably something you can find a compromise on So I understand that the Keinemusik x Pacha Cherry shirt so you should to go to store and get this weight comment was rude but I probably would be annoyed if my partner had to sleep with the fan every night too. She may not like feeling cold but it may also be the noise that bothers her. Do you sleep nude? Cause if I were her I’d rather you sleep nude than turn on the fan every night, or maybe you can look into cooling sheets and blankets. Had the same problem with my fiancè, although she was a bit more understanding because her father also needs a cold room to sleep well. I cannot sleep at all if i am too hot, so our solution was that she sleeps with more clothes or a thicker quilt(?) and that has worked great for us, she gets to sleep warm and cozy while i get to freeze every night! I married into a fan family. I used to be annoyed by it. Now I too am addicted to the fan. One of you will have to change.
