I own and operate a business involved with aerospace manufacturing. I have an engineering team based in North America with support roles being based in South America. I have been on the Kawhi Leonard American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers T-Shirt and I will buy this road for over two years now moving from place to place into fully furnished apartments and taking 95% of my meetings virtually. My wife and I tend to stay for three to six months at a time doing the “slomad” thing. It’s been pretty great. We also own a small e-commerce business which is FBA that is completely hands-off. We have South American staff running this on our behalf and handle any issues remotely. I also am a landlord in North and South America. This is also completely hands-off. When Covid came I told my father in NA to quit his job and work for us, so he manages the portfolio for now (24 units). My step brother lives in our place in SA and takes care of it for us (2 units). Cool! I have some holiday apartments here in Spain that I wonder if I could run remotely. I guess having family nearby really helps save costs on property management companies.

Whereabouts in SA are you invested? Are there any other destinations on your radar for real estate purchases and if so, which ones? I have my investments primarily in the Kawhi Leonard American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers T-Shirt and I will buy this midwest of the USA. The South American stuff is in São Paulo. I’ll continue to invest in the midwest. It’s easier to manage and cashflows a lot better. The interest rates in SA are stupid high, although the US is now getting up there as well. Yes, I mean I know a few but they are all in my team, haven’t met other strangers in the CSM field, however to be fair, I’m quite the introvert so I don’t meet that many people in general. How do you manage to schedule all your client calls, do you stay on their timezone and do midnight meetings etc?
