Reminds me of Jack Lucas who’s stepfather helped falsify papers for the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this recruiter against his mother’s wishes so he could join at the age of 13. Also the youngest Marine to ever win the Medal Of Honor. Edit: Just took a look at the article I posted. It doesn’t have the part about his stepfather but I remember that from his autobiography. Yeah, the genetics are crazy video that always gets me is of Andy Reid, the head coach of the Chiefs. Here he is at 13 years old in an NFL youth event. I mean… yeah? That generation had the Great Depression and a World War. I doubt anyone came out of that time period without some emotional scarring. After his mother narced, he served 3 months in a military prison had his medals and benifits stripped. Rejoined with the Marines in 1948, where he got his benefits restored for that service. He eventually got all of his medals restored by Carter and Reagan, but the final medal, his purple heart, didnt happen until after his death. They kind of did that to my grandfather. Saw combat in the pacific, as a WW2 translator. VA claimed it wasn’t a combat role and denied a bunch of stuff as being not service related. “Combat role” during war is often BS. Women in the US were generally excluded from combat roles until 2015. What this meant in practice for a lot of soldiers was being infantry in urban combat but not getting paid or recognized for it because… women couldn’t be in combat roles. Even though they were. They were just doing “security patrols”.

Yeah and in many warzones being in a “support” role doesn’t magically prevent you from getting fucking blown to pieces by an IED or enemy gunfire or anything. But, but, but… you are completely shielded by a ton of memos, directives, norms, protocols, and other bureaucracy…. it is impossible!! Just read section 3 of chapter 4 of the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this regulatory norm A+BX$URKS&VDJD#MDBDBFN*FBS-193738273Y48393 People acting like it’s just incompetent bureaucracy accidentally making this happen, and ignoring that these are all intentionally designed systems to deny as many benefits as they can. You ever wonder why they make such a big deal of not reporting injuries or illness because “you’re letting down your team who has to pick up your slack?”

Ope, looks like you didn’t report that injury during service. If you really had it, you would’ve reported it then! Its dumb anyways. My husband is an aircraft mechanic. He will probably never see actual combat and he generally is not in combat zones even when deployed just because of the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this planes he works on. That doesn’t mean he can’t get service related injuries. His hearing is going to shit which is almost certainly because of his job even though he wears 2 types of hearing protection and thats not even getting into his knee issues from jumping out of planes all day I’m now imagining that he works on planes while they’re flying, and when he’s done, he just drops the tail door down and is like, “Seeya, plumbers, don’t go down!” before jumping out with his parachute in his hand. He then puts on the chute, deploys it, and it picked up on the wire by a passing tanker, which is the next one he needs to work on. I know it is a game and not a truly accurate breakdown of real life but In hearts of iron 4 this is displayed in the division designer. Many default templates have 600 rifles for a 8 thousand man division.

My father was doing advanced training and went down a hill. Ended up in the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this hospital with both of his knees destroyed. They told him the damage to his knees were not service related and discharged him with nothing. His report said it wasn’t service related and only exaggerated by his service accident. So when my mother 40 years later tried to get him benefits they refused all benefits. Took her I think 2 years to finally get the VA to accept him. Another 15+ years before they would actually replace his knees. I tried at one point to help him out and they effectively said they would only ever use that report to make a determination unless I can find other evidence. Then also mentioned how all the old records burned years ago. Seeing my father suffer my entire life jaded me pretty badly to how the government treats their vets.

this is why Universal health care is so needed. Then it wouldn’t matter how your dads knees got screwed up, just that they need fixing, so they get fixed. It’s one reason I won’t move back to the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this US, so much BS around basic needs that people in Europe would burn down governments if they tried to take away those basic benefits we enjoy here. My dad died from ischemic heart disease due to Agent Organe exposure. The government said “nah, you lie” and didnt give him anything until 8 years after he died. Even then, they didnt back pay him just gave a 200,000 death benefit. His wife and 6 kids were all just real pleased with the government lemme tell ya Not VA, but I knew a SWAT cop who had to smoke someone before they stabbed a kid. He filed work comp and they rejected him for not having hearing protection on. (He fought back and won)
He was continuing the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this joke, he just didn’t put it in quotes to show it wasn’t him talking but him impersonating the VA like you. The CIA deals with foreign threats against the US. The VA is a domestic threat to US servicemembers, therefore they’re under the jurisdiction of the FBI. Back in the day, when the VA still used paper charts, every so often you’d see a vet’s chart that had a big black stripe along the edge. This indicated that they had been a POW for at least 17 days. This special group was granted all the benefits the VA could provide. my grandfather had agent orange exposure and it took until the early 2010s until they finally accepted that he was exposed to agent orange in vietnam. by that point they had to take a leg.
He was in the Kamala Harris Tim Walz Waltz 2024 Election Democrat USA 2024 T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this brig for three months for going AWOL for a funeral. He was released after when another relative made a stink about it. I don’t think they knew he was underage until after he was locked up. Why does the link not work? Genuine question, not being a snarky dick, this keeps happening with wikipedia links for me. Normally it’s because the Reddit mobile app is shit and adds additional formatting to links that isn’t actually needed. You can see in the URL that a ” character was added to the URL to escape the ‘_’ character which also breaks the link. If you remove the ” character from the URL (it should be URL-encoded as ‘%5C’) then you will get the proper page. That family sounds insufferable. No wonder the kid thought joining the military was a better use of time than staying with them. Presumably, his mother told the Navy his real age because she didn’t want her 12 year old fighting in a war for some crazy reason. He was thrown in prison for going AWOL, not because his mother tattled, and in fact his family fought to get him out.
