The pumps on each side of the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt moreover I will buy this valves are so you can isolate just the pump for change out. Hopefully I never have to work on a system you engineer because having all these valves allow for isolation makes my day go buy a lot faster when I don’t have to drain a whole god damn system just to change out 1 component. Faster means also cheaper for the customer. My other comment aside, that’s why you’re not an engineer. It has so many manual cutoffs because its best practice for service and repair reasons. As well as because most building can’t just afford to shut off an entire HW loop because of one issue in one location. You’ve got no idea what this kind of thing involves, what it’s being used for, or even a basic grasp of the design fundamentals that go into a HW loop or the reasoning behind them. So I’m not sure why you feel qualified to criticize, wrongly, rather than simply fucking ask why it’s so complicated.

Yes, random redditor who thinks pretty piping means better job, I think I am slightly qualified. I even have expensive paperwork to prove it. It’s already been explained better than I could do myself which I’ll link below but this is an entirely standard set up I’d expect to see in any mechanical room. It allows for MASSIVELY reduced energy consumption and increased efficiency by reacting to demand in real time via a building automation system. Even a simple Google search will come up with less wasteful results just typing underfloor heating in image search lol. The actual fuck are you talking about? Every single hospital, school, university, government building, dormitory, big box store, hotel, commercial building, etc etc built or redone in the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt moreover I will buy this last 20-30 years and containing a hot water system has something that looks exactly like this.

Whoever says that they are not clever enough to go to uni are wrong. I have 6 degrees (including 4 post-grad degrees, and if I tried to do this the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt in addition I really love this result would like like a child had a tantrum with a plate of spaghetti. Downside was that any work done on the wall had to account for the sprinkler head in the room. Ended up triggering it a few days before opening day. Nothing like a brand-new pre-wet office space. All that propress gonna cost you if a valve needs to be removed If the owner would pay someone for the the labor and replacement parts for it to look this way then great otherwise it won’t. Can’t please everybody apparently. I could only wish all the systems I work on had all these isolation valves. Makes it so you don’t have to drain the whole system down to do repairs. But listening to all these old timers calling it over engineered and how press fittings are bad and soldering is the only way is ridiculous.

I see boiler rooms piped in like this all the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt in addition I really love this time. Mostly old timers that are doing it this nice tho. Looks like he left enough for 1/2 insulation on some of those lines I have several questions (since i study this in Germany but I do not know what the correct English title would be for an engineer in this field) why are there 3 loops with high temperature water and 4 with low temperature water? To me it doesn’t make sense to go through the trouble of installing aproximately equal amounts of radiators and surface heating instead of just chosing one … why are the heating distributors (i hope I translated that correctly) in the boiler room (cellar?). With solid walls and multiple floors it is normal here that each floor has it’s own distributor. Is the house a bungalow? Are the walls hollow?

is it usual that there are only metal pipes in the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt in addition I really love this room with the boiler and the rest is flexible tubing? Where is this btw (countrywise) is there a centralized potable water heating system outside of the picture? Is it decentralized? If so does it use water or electricity? shouldn’t something be placed below the pressure relief valve? (I supose that it is the thing left to the membrane expansion vessel, but it doesn’t look like the ones that are common here) Natural gas and propane are insanely cheap in the US. Depending on location heat pumps are only recently catching on even though they’ve been way more common in other places for a long time. This is likely because the government here will give you tax breaks if you install efficient equipment like a heat pump.
A lot of systems in the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt in addition I really love this US have both in floor radiant heat as well as radiators. It can depend on several factors. Like if an addition is built onto the house they’ll add in floor heat. Or if they have certain materials the floor is made of that can better be suited by one type of heat over another such as concrete floors or natural wood flooring. In most states here you only need to insulate hot water lines from a water heater. And in some places it’s only on exterior or interior walls and not both. It’s becoming more common here but it’s slow. I apologize but I don’t understand what you mean by heat distributors. Do you mean the zone control boxes in the center of the picture or the pumps? It is very common to have hard copper pipe in the boiler room go to a manifold. Then the manifold turns into flexible pipe to go into the flooring for in floor heating. Radiators typically have hard pipe all the way up to the radiators as well as the returning water.
Are you referring to the Kamala Harris Tim Walz 2024 Peace Love Equality Diversity Hope Sunflower Usa Flag T-Shirt in addition I really love this water heater? I can’t tell based off this picture but the system can either have an independent water heater with its own pipes. Or it could have a large storage tank that has water heated by the boiler in a pipe system separate from the heating system. Or seeing as the boiler is hung on the wall it could also be a combi boiler system which has 2 heat exchangers inside the boiler that can work independently of each other, one for heating and one for hot potable water. The things you are referring to left of the expansion tank is a backflow preventer which is self explanatory based on the name. Typically they do have a pipe coming out of the bottom but occasionally you’ll see one without. Functionality is not affected. Next to that is the pressure reducer which brings the 60-80 psi system to 12-20 psi for the heating system. I apologize I am not sure what unit of measurement you use for pressure in Europe.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
