My question is why wouldn’t you want to go there for work? I’m sure it’s cool as fuck with a bunch of amenities…. I don’t understand why you’d rather be cooped in up in your own house 100% of the Justin jefferson Minnesota vikings national Football shirt but in fact I love this time instead of going to work if it’s a sick office like that. Here’s the thing. It’s not really their choice. They are paid by Apple. So as far as I know – the employer can do whatever they want. True but I’d imagine at some point with the amount of employees protesting, it becomes easier to agree to it than replace them all also that “stop trying to control how often you see us in the office” is a bit over-dramatic, they just dont want to be in the office so are using things like diversity etc etc to pressure them into letting them just do what they want. they are your employer and set the terms of your employment. if they feel that strong, vote with your employment n feet and resign n leave.

We should be able to pay them less now that they don’tneed to afford the commute!!!!” But transportation costs etc I can see how it would be worth not wasting resources on office jobs that can be done remotely. This wfh movement is nice, but as an IT person I’m worried about step 2. When they realize their remote employee can be from anywhere…
