I came in to get my tongue looked at. I am extremely sensitivity to most food, cannot deal at all with spicy food and most of the Just an Iowa Guy Iowa in a Wisconsin World 2023 Shirt and by the same token and time, I am in a lot of pain. My female doctor says, “ohh I have seen this before!”, she then opens Google on her laptop and searches Geographic Tongue. She points to her screen and says “that’s what you have!”, and proceeds to show me pictures. If I could diagnose myself by doing a google search, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have came to a licensed specialist to tell me what I already knew. Before my doctor retired she told me I needed to start losing weight. She herself was obese and I’m mostly muscle. Was diagnosed with SAD in middle school or highschool. Was told to go to the tanning salon. My parents would never have paid for therapy so I guess it was better than nothing. Told the doctor I’ve started getting headaches which is most likely due to starting a new job and using the computer all day (work had asked me to get a note so I can take 5-10 mins longer breaks). He said no it’s not to do with that and prescribed me medication for depression, I don’t even have a history of it :/ oh and I didn’t get given the note either

The doctor said I was faking being sick and I need to go back into the line. Not even five seconds later, I cover my mouth annnnnd… puked all over the doctor. Needless to say, I managed to get the day off and whenever I walked into the same doctor, he said ‘to just go home’. win win? Went to see doctor about heavy periods and severe cramps, I was late teens at this point. She told me I should have a child and that would solve all my problems .
