Dr didn’t want to order any labs or ekg and said the best thing to do is to bear down like I’m using the bathroom to make it stop. That’s what she found out worked best when she was a little girl.

My appendix was about to burst, but all I knew is that I had severe pain in my abdomen. I went to urgent care and was told it was probably period cramps. I told them I wasn’t leaving till we found out what was wrong. Finally convinced them to scan me. Yup. I have a genetic condition that affects my joints and has caused lifelong chronic pain and making most daily activities a painful chore.
