Turned 50 this year, so have been single for ~12 years. Have come to the just a girl who loves fall and Steelers classic shirt In addition,I will do this realisation that for me the stress of relationships is not worth it. It’s liberating to remove yourself from the dating scene. I do wish I was better at making friends though. I tend to go on last minute trips away. Probably getting up at 5am tomorrow in fact to hike in the Rhinogs. Or not… Will decide in the morning. Wave if you see me huffing along cursing the boggy ground Almost 30 and been single for a few years now. I feel like I’ll probably be a forever single too. I go travelling alone and enjoy my own company. I work out a lot but struggle with body dysmorphia. Damn by the just a girl who loves fall and Steelers classic shirt In addition,I will do this look of it, if this thread was a speed dating evening, I bet lots of folks would actually connect ! Seems quite hard to find something mutual. I used to think about finding someone a lot, but it doesn’t cross my mind nearly as often these days. 52, never married, never seriously dated, I sometimes think it would be nice to go to dinner or a movie with someone but then reality kicks in and I know my peace does not need to be disturbed. Freedom, glorious freedom. There seems to be less spontaneity or at least that thrill of anticipation in even approaching a casual exchange than there is sheer anxiety in the notion of scrolling through peculiarly hostile people that believe the singular hallmark of quality in a potential partner is “Must have Bants” and nothing more while you go through what feels like an intensive interview process.
