It’s really fun and cute to take a free doll home to play with for a week. I’m going into month 11 with my daughter and only recently have I been able to go to bed fairly confident I won’t be awoken in the Juniors’ Peanuts chef Snoopy shirt in other words I will buy this middle of the night. Comprehensive sexual education from an early age has been scientifically proven to lower teen pregnancy and abortion rates. It’s because these programs are most often implemented by schools who practice “abstinence only” contraception. Popular in the Bible Belt for obvious reasons. I was the only guy in my entire graduation class to take family planning at my Christian high school. It was awful (and I actually wanted to be a family guy at that point haha). After the project I still wanted that, life just didn’t turn out that way. Honestly, I didn’t mind the late night wake ups, attention, whatever. I do similarly now for my cats (rescue Stella still gets scared during storms and needs consoling or me to cleanup when she pees on the bathroom rug haha). I did get a kick out of how like every girl at that school suddenly wanted to spend time with me and my baby that week lmfao. Cute AF blonde on the cheerleading squad at the football game while I’m sitting there on the practice field watching with my kid? She’s coming over and chatting me up while asking to hold it. Girl I’ve had a crush on for a while is literally texting me about how awesome it was I did the project and wanting to do study nights together so I can tutor her while she helps me take care of the kid and she goes mom mode and is like holding the kid while laying on me.

Ironically, I got a D on the Juniors’ Peanuts chef Snoopy shirt in other words I will buy this project. That week just so happened to land on a week where I was in the school play sat/Sunday night and my mom (fake kid’s grandma) said she’d care for it while I was on stage. I remember when I was in school we had a girl who kept talking about how much she wanted to have a baby, well when that section came and the permission slips went home her parents reached out to the teacher and told them to make her suffer. The dolls have different settings that can be adjusted for how calm/fussy the doll will be. They put hers on hell mode. We had some that simulated babies with issues with things like fetal alcohol syndrome, colic, drug withdrawal, etc. All options were turned on and set to max. The first day she was so excited to get her baby to take home by the 3rd day she was starting to look awful and stressed, by Friday she was exhausted and was seriously reconsidering how much she wanted a baby. It also didn’t help that all of her other teachers were giving her zero slack about dealing with said demon doll. It was a miserable week for everyone around her for having to listen to that doll screaming all the time but it was worth it since IIRC she hadn’t had a kid by the time I left.
