The hiring manager and team that is expecting to add you would likely be so pissed off to know they lost their top candidate due to their own clerical error. OP, the Juneteenth Celebrating Black Freedom 6 19 1865 shirt in other words I will buy this job interview process is as much for you to evaluate a potential employer as it is for the potential employer to evaluate you. You can, and absolutely should, take the attitude of the interviewer and how they speak and act into account when deciding whether to accept a job offer. This can be both during the interview, and as you experienced, in email/phone communications. In this case, the interviewer clearly knew the date in the email was misleading. It may be an automated message, however the message still comes from them, and they are no less responsible for it than if a person had written it.

Either the Juneteenth Celebrating Black Freedom 6 19 1865 shirt in other words I will buy this person who sent the offer knew there was a discrepancy in the dates and sent it anyway, which is unprofessional, or they did not notice and are avoiding taking responsibility for their mistakes, which is both unethical and unprofessional. In either case, this reflects poorly on the company and how they run their business, not on you. Take the high road; End contact with them and do not engage with them any further. They are not worth the time not the effort to continue the conversation. Do not feel bad about the way this job offer turned out. There will always be another company hiring, there will always be another job opportunity; Keep putting in the effort, and you will find a job that is a good fit. It may take some time and some trial and error to get there, but you will get there.
