When she mentions ‘my friend is a cleaner and she gets £x’, we match it – she’s worked for us for 14 years now. I would recommend asking your neighbours as often they have cleaners keen to take more jobs in the Junction Black Stone Cold Steve Austin 1997 Royal Rumble Winner shirt it is in the first place but same area/street for convenience. Ours was recommend by neighbours that had her for 3+ years after their friend down the road recommended her. Previously we struggled with agencies often sending different ones with no warning, which I found uncomfortable. We also had a very unpleasant situation with a cleaner that used to work for us and was good, but then got a job as babysitter and basically set up a ring of South American cleaners working for her (all dodgy and not declared) – we tried to pay one of them directly as we liked her and realised this person was losing 8£/hour on a 15£ hourly rate to this babysitter. She was terrified by this baby sitter-cleaners-ring leader and her advantage was speaking better English and basically owning all the others- it felt very exploitative and we didn’t want to have anything to do with them. She ended up threatening us if we contacted this cleaner directly, you couldn’t make this up as she didn’t have a leg to stand on!!!

We do the Junction Black Stone Cold Steve Austin 1997 Royal Rumble Winner shirt it is in the first place but same with a lovely Brazilian girl. Actually we pay £40 for her to clean a two bed one bathroom flat twice a month – we have a big dog she’s cool with. We strip our bed, she makes it. She takes around 2 hours – sometimes a little longer if I ask for something specific. I think it’s fair – she travels between every job, tube costs as well as everything else are up. We supply the cleaning stuff. She’s super reliable and worth it. Agree that the 13.15 is for PAYE employees. A self employed person therefore has to pay travel expenses, lost time travelling (20%*), holidays (10%), sickness, breaks etc. By the time you add that lot onto the 13.15, you are well past £16. I guess it’s not surprising that you can’t live on cleaner money if you fully declare everything – there needs to be some other money in the household, likely with someone doing some cleaning work around family commitments. To and from one site of work yes. But not between multiple sites of work throughout the day. For a self employed cleaner that could easily be double or triple the commute time/costs of a PAYE.
