The cat, dressing gown, pjs, 23 cigarettes, AirPods, chicken super noodles and about £20 to go to the Joshua Dobbs Minnesota Design WHT Shirt and I love this Winchester until this all blows over My normal bag so got driving license, powerbank, emergency continence supplies and emergency medicines and keys. Got a bag with wash stuff, continence stuff and PJ’s for emergency hospital stays (add my normal meds to that bag) and then I’d get my animals in their carriers. Not one bag but two bags and two carriers. Thankfully I’ve never needed to evacuate the animals but quite used to leaving in a rush to the hospital or sending someone home to get my hospital bag. So useful to have some stuff just in a distinctive bag ready, saves a lot of stress. Well, as it happens, a few yrs ago my partner and I stumbled across an army surplus store selling ration packs. We thought for the fun of it We’d buy one each and actually eat what was in there and in there only over the 24 hr period they were designed for. All went well, we were well fed, even had snacks. But there was a ziplok bag with other important things in if you happen to find yourself out in the wilderness – a plastic spork, alcohol wipes, matches with a bit to strike them on to light them, water purification tablets, that sort of thing. A small bag with simple toiletries(because even in an apocalypse you gotta maintain some level of hygiene to keep from getting ill etc) such as toothbrush and paste, hand sanitiser etc

Medication. Bra. Socks. Passport. Water purification tablets. Vaseline. Swiss Army knife. Jar of peanut butter. Phone & charger Medicines, phone chargers, – (solar charger – I have one, get one!), 100% passport, ID,etc. underwear, socks, 1 pair of jeans or joggers, travel toiletries -( toothbrush, toothpaste, scent-free baby wipes, tissues, floss, dry shampoo, hand lotion, band-aids, fem products, hydrogen peroxide), granola bars, protein bars, dark chocolate, water, small flask of bourbon or whiskey. As long as I’ve got my handbag, my Kindle, my Steam Deck, a Thermos of tea and a clean pair of knickers I’m fine.
