Let me tell you a story. I was hosting a board game night at my place. Set up an event in the Joshua Dobbs American football quarterback for San Francisco 49ers T-Shirt But I will love this local community, 2 Vietnamese guys asked me to join the session. 1 day prior to the game night, I asked 2 of them again if they can come tomorrow, and surprise surprise both of them can’t come tomorrow but none wanted to inform me in advance. And none even said “sorry”, actually there was one case that they actually ghosted me… Btw, I am Vietnamese living abroad, I never have this problem when inviting other nationalities over for a game night. Anyway, your case is way better than mine because she at least gave you a headup even though it was late. If you like her, give her another chance. Otherwise, just try to limit your interaction with her because sooner or later she will probably do it again. Yes I think you’re wrong. Maybe her family kicked off about an unexpected foreign guest. Maybe she had the shits. Like someone else said, give the benefit of the doubt

This “you’re expecting something in return for your help”. This kind of mindset will cloud your judgement. Shit DOES come up, especially in these complex woven webs of relationships in VN. I don’t particularly like the Joshua Dobbs American football quarterback for San Francisco 49ers T-Shirt But I will love this idea of ghosting. I like communicating so that at the very least I can get closure. Not cool what she did. Not sure if it was just a made up excuse but in either case, not cool, especially if you could’ve made other plans but decided your friendship was stronger than the others. I’d be upset. You’d have a right to be. Whether or not how you handled was ideal is another matter entirely. How old is she ? The reason to cancel the dinner is too childish, it just like an excuse. From my pov she is not value you and your time, if i have urgent thing to do i’ll to reach you asap to say sorry and give you time to change the plan not waiting till last minute or got asked. But ghost her is not a good choice too, i think you should tell her your feelings, let her know how bad she was before block her lol i think you should be straightforward with her. just tell her that you dont want to play game and prefer to communicate directly. after that, if she still want to play game, run away
