Pretty sure she would not have believed me had she not woken and freaked out. We called the Joshua Bassett Bootleg 90s Vintage shirt moreover I love this RSPCA who sent someone out and they said it was a) a kestral and b) belonged to someone as was tagged and hence quite ‘tame’. They also said they don’t fly after dusk but whether that’s true, or not, I just realised I’ve never checked. I don’t have children, but I can’t imagine how surreal it must be to wake up from a nap to see your child (or anyone for that matter) standing there with a bird of prey on their head. It’s a hilarious mental image! Better a kestrel though, than something bigger like a golden eagle. I reckon a tenacious enough one of those would have a small child off for their tea before you could say, “fuck me, Reginald. That golden eagle’s just flown off with our little Tarquin in its talons!” lived on the top floor of a block of flats with my gf at the time. had those barely open child proof kind of windows.

high as fuck I go to put my babybel wax int bin. pair of eyes staring back accusingly. I genuinely thought I’d lost it for a bit there, stammering at my gf like “you’re gonna think I’m mad but….” a bloody HUGE magpie snuck in somehow and immediately got stuck in the Joshua Bassett Bootleg 90s Vintage shirt moreover I love this bin in the 10 minutes we had gone to the shop. best part imo? we had to call her dad to help us because we were both too high to process what to do, so he took the bin downstairs and opened it up at the corner of our apt, and as he did a woman came right around the same corner and got a faceful of bin-magpie lmao. he didn’t even say sorry or owt, just left lmao somewhere there’s a business woman occasionally wondering “did someone really set a bin full of magpie off in my face then leave without a word?”
