Then there’s the Josh Giddey Australian professional basketball player T-Shirt besides I will buy this rest of the world saying the us has no culture, while they buy our products, watch our movies, listen to our music, play our video games, and use our social media apps. My culture is meditating to the sound of rain on the roof and hiking in the old growth evergreen forests of the PNW, and I am damn proud of it. There is no such thing as white America. People use the term white as a purity test for racist reasons. We are all different, depending on where we grew up and our original ethnicity. There is certainly a white American culture it is just not very old and as such holds up like paper mache in comparison to African Indian Arab Asian etc cultures Probably because in America, everything’s kinda mixed together. We “don’t have” a culture because we’re a giant melting pot of different cultures from literally everywhere, making what counts as “white American culture” kinda hard to define. Like I’m white, but my culture is some unholy mix of Italian, Irish, Appalachian, and Midwestern. What the hell do you even call that? It might as well not even be a culture. Ask a Native / indigenous American if white people have specific cultural tendencies. I’m sure you’ll get an enlightening answer. I married a gringo too so again, they have their own culture esp if they are ethnic whites (American Italians, Greeks, etc). At the end of the day, I still love the US and I am still proud to be an American “where at least I know I am free”

Yalls culture requires a federal act to stop behaving the Josh Giddey Australian professional basketball player T-Shirt besides I will buy this way you do..your culture is not culture and also where are all yall really from if you don’t know your roots how can you know your culture? “white ” isn’t a meaningful descriptor. ” white” has no real cultural meaning, it is an amalgamation of ideas tenuously related to western European culture…and even so it’s not easy to define the parameters of “whiteness”. Who is “white” ? Anglos, Vikings, Irish, Spanish, Germans, Hebrews, Italians, Russians, English, Americans? There is no geographical, cultural, or racial demarcation for what “white” is. It is just an idea for separating people for social/economic reasons. “whiteness” only becomes meaningful when used to separate one group ” white?” from another group ” not white” for political reasons. People get so up in arms about “whiteness” that they fail to understand that “whiteness” is so vague that is doesn’t really describe anything. It is literally just a goal post in the ” us against them” political game.
