And in some games, specifically 3rd person games, if I have the Josh Allen Quarterback Signature Football Buffalo Bold Number T-Shirt Also,I will get this choice between character animations thrusting a roided-out man’s ass or a shapely woman’s bottom into the center of my screen, I know which one I would prefer. (ex. Gears of War 3) My boyfriend’s buddy defended playing as a girl because, and I quote, ” staring at a dude’s butt is gay. I don’t want to stare at a dude’s butt.” The game in question?? Pokemon Scarlet. And this was a 23 year old man who is preparing to be engaged. I’m really hoping my boyfriend out grows this friend soon. Viva La Dirt League had a pretty good take on itI simply don’t like identifying with whatever character im playing. Its their story I’m experiencing, not mine. Having a female character makes it way harder to accidentally start identifying with the character. I had a friend who once told me “If I am going to be staring at an ass for multiple hours I rather it be a womans”

The best explanation I heard when I asked the Josh Allen Quarterback Signature Football Buffalo Bold Number T-Shirt Also,I will get this same question in an mmo was, “you stare at a man’s ass all day, I stare at a woman’s ass all day” Dudes are like 80% of the main heroic archetype in video games. First chance I get to play as a female/alien/zombie/dinosaur/etc then I’m taking it. I would say I play a female character roughly 30% of the time (assuming custom character creation). I like strong female characters and it’s fun to roleplay from a different point of view. It gets boring playing a character modeled after myself all the time, I want to consider how other people experience things. Because as a straight guy I don’t care about staring at some guy’s ass for endless hours… I don’t see the game character as a representation of me, I see them as a character in a movie or book and I’m a spectator/reader.
