I spent about 160 hours on my first playthrough and the Johnny cash graphic vintage design shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Roundtable Hold was almost completely empty for basically the whole second half of that time. 4 of the 6 endings are literally a palette swap of each other with the final word of the voiceover changed. Come on guys, you put so much effort into the whole game you could have given me a more fleshed out poop rune ending. Too many leg-tickler massive bosses towards the end of the game that just feel incredibly unfun compared to more traditionally sized bosses. Rykard was a cool gimmick fight and the game gives you a free pass with the serpent spear. But the dragons, Astels and Elden beast sucked because they’re right towards the end, spend half the fight running away like it’s MHW or something and hit you with spammy ranged attacks. Then once you finally get in range to hit them your entire screen is full of a random monster texture, you can’t see anything. Content spread: start-royal capital is packed with stuff and drops off hard, made worse by repeated content. I’m usually okay with repeated content for big open worlds but elden ring got to the point where it was overkill and the game would have been better with some more distance between activities and bosses earlier on.

The lock on system straight up doesn’t work, specifically target switching, even though i felt like they figured it out in ds3 Following side quests was hard enough in the Johnny cash graphic vintage design shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this more linear fromsoft games, can not fathom how some people manage to do them in elden ring without hints Too many one hit/near one hit kills. You can still make hard bosses and enemies who are relentlessly difficult without them, i think they managed it pretty well in their past titles. 100% personal taste, i just don’t really care for the color pallet/art style in most regions, i still think bloodborne, sekiro and Ds3 are all prettier games. This whole thing makes me feel extremely validated. This is my first fromsoft game and I’ve had almost every single complaint y’all have had and have vocalized it on social media and I always get someone who is all “iTs PuNiShMeNt” and it’s crap. There are legit issues. There’s a difference between difficult and stupid. hot take but the legacy dungeons are the best part of the game and the open world albeit beautiful at times dilutes an otherwise 10/10 experience Reused bosses – I really dont mind the dungeon bosses even though most are meh mainly overworld enemies. But having the demi gods be used do much feels wrong imo. astel being in a random cave really drove this home for me. Dungeons being samey – wouldve been cool to have some puzzle based dungeons to mix up the game a bit. I’d prefer a good brain teaser over having to fight an enemy I’ve fought 100 times for an ash I’m probably not gonna use.. Balancing – Its just kind of all over the place tbh Final boss – radagon is fine elden beast is just tedious and the weakest final boss in a souls game imo. I liked ER it was really good I dont think it’s a masterpiece though, I think this game gets a lot of passes off being a fromsoft game and fromsoft being industry darlings. So my biggest criticism wouldnt actually be the game itself it would be the cult like worship surrounding it
