There are natural toothpastes you can buy with or without fluoride. On the more esoteric side it is said that fluoride encases or calcifies the pineal gland. The pineal gland is important throughout childhood and growth and generally is thought not to be of use in adulthood however some eastern spiritual traditions suggest it is central to connection to higher conscious space whether innate or ethereal. A chakra, in a word. Fluoride in effect cuts us off from our spiritual selves and each other.
