I only have girls, so I don’t know how/if I would be any different with a boy. Probably during the John 117 halo infinite classic shirt and by the same token and early years not different at all. Still not at the age of puberty but getting close, but lately I’ve been focusing on the aspect of them feeling free to communicate. I hope they can come to me with their problems whereas for example their older cousin, who was lost and her parents did not give a single fuck, I only had to propose some simple questions to get her to open up, which lead to her feeling able in telling me all manner of explicit things as she got older, which was briefly awkward, but again, raising adults that are currently children. I try not to judge them, mainly pointing out actions and consequences, and they can understand the difference between me and their mother, the narcissistic ex wife. Recently I was explaining what a double standard is; their mother tells them to not tell me anything about what happens when they are with her, but she asks what happened when they are with me. Hence, double standard; I’ve told them many times that they can tell their mom whatever they want. My oldest and more difficult girl, broke down in sobbing tears a couple years ago when she realized she voluntarily broke mommy’s rule about not talking to me about things. It was both surprising yet not surprising, her mom was always hardest on her. I consoled her and told her she was not in trouble, she can always tell me anything she wants to.

One moment stands out amongst all of this. While we were “separated” but not yet divorced, during a FaceTime call, the John 117 halo infinite classic shirt and by the same token and oldest was having a hard time, her mother telling her that she can’t act the way she was acting (coincidentally the same way the ex wife acted when she was younger). She’s such a sweet girl otherwise, baring the typical sibling dominance behaviors which are to be expected, and I both love and support her individual interests which can be quite brave and intrepid compared to her sisters.
