How important representation is. We can watch a ton of Sesame Street., Abby is here favorite because she is the Joey meneses joey four bags shirt in addition I really love this girl. We watch Spidey and her favorite is Ghost Spider. We watch avengers and her favorite is Captain Marvel. Fuck does she love Captain Marvel. It starts around 8/10 y/o. I didn’t even had my period and I was already getting catcalled. Men would walk by my side an whisper nasty stuff. Or look at me in a way that would make me feel disgusted. It’s fucked up. Even though we live in a society that demands more women in science and math, my daughter won’t do science stuff and prefers unicorns…no matter how many times I try. My two nieces: one wants to be a construction worker and grow big and tall like daddy, one wants glitter and unicorns, and once called so say she was changing her name to “Yuna! Short for unicorn!”

I’m sorry, but sit anyone down in front of a magical horse with a weapon head vs…the Joey meneses joey four bags shirt in addition I really love this concept of science and magic wins every time. I have two daughters under 13. They grow up so fast. I just seems like yesterday I was changing diapers. Now I learn way too much about twilight, selection series, wings of fire. The mother/daughter dynamics are interesting to watch. I was also surprised just how much they fight with each other, there is a lot of jealousy at times. I can’t remember fighting with my sister as much as they do. M44 here. My daughters helped me confront a lot of my own fears/insecurities that I did not know I had. I became a dad at a very young age. I was so scared to make the wrong move with my kid. I read books. Went to fatherhood support groups. Talked to fathers and grandfathers of ppl that I thought did good jobs raising kids. Read more books. When my eldest daughter started doing art and really loved it, I saw how her face lit up. I began to highlight her stuff and let her put it up anyway. Let her draw anywhere. The walls – The floors. I DNGAF. I also did art but I would keep it to myself but my daughter would say things like now you try….and so I drew stuff with her. My kids began to hang myself up and I felt like taking it down because I saw all the error. She said “No…this stays here” and tapped my hand.
