Chill. Switch to English. Get new friends/ hobby groups. Or switch cities. And try to improve Hindi. Watch Hindi serials. It will help. It absolutely sickens me that people only converse in Hindi. There are 16 in my team, and 4 of them do not understand hindi and are always left out of convos. At times, some of them take over the Jodie’s Babysitting Services 112 Ocean Ave shirt and I love this official team meetings in Hindi as well. This has to stop somewhere. The whole country doesn’t speak the language, and most of the hindi speakers here at work have no common sense or respect towards the ones who don’t understand. Wow, I am also a north south person. But I have the opposite problem. My grandparents from Andra relocated to Chhattisgarh. I grew up speaking hindi and occasionally some telugu.

I feel like a foreigner while visiting my relatives in Andra. I have to manage with broken Telugu. I also studied in Vellore, Tamil Nadu for 4 years. There I made some Telugu friends and gained some proficiency. Even my professor who was my guide was Telugu. The first time I spoke Telugu, he was astonished. My north Indian friends were also astonished. They realised that there was an imposter among them. But even my Telugu professor and my Telugu friends speak to me in either hindi or English. When I am at home, I use Telugu to speak to my parents like a secret language so that the Jodie’s Babysitting Services 112 Ocean Ave shirt and I love this neighbours can’t understand what I am saying. Just pulling your leg man, I’m South Indian too. The dosa just seemed out of place with the conversation, as you weren’t specifically talking about food. Hope you enjoyed your breakfast! I spent 3 years in Kota and it felt like it was a literal desert due to the dearth of good south indian foods. The 4 years in Vellore felt like living in an ocean because of the good south Indian food.
