As with everything, there is a line. Kids get distracted and often make decisions that don’t actually benefit them. So trying to prod your child along to pay attention to their food is reasonable. just like having discipline, rules, boundaries, and consequences are good things for parent stop implement. But when a kid is facing outsized and traumatic discipline or ridiculous rules and expectations, now it’s gone to far. M Seen that too much when i had a private consult and they evdn had the Jimmy Jimmy The Understones Punk Throwback 1979 Top 20 punk rock song T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this cheek to ask for deworming medications because, of course, their kids were filled with worms if they didntcwant to eat. I have a rule in my house. You are allowed to not like something and I won’t make my kids eat it if they don’t but they at least have to try it. Most of the time they end up liking it. Sometimes they don’t. It’s not a big deal.

Never did this and no one did it to me. You WERE obligated to take a bite (provided it was made with mainstream ingredients) you didn’t have to try liver, head cheese, oysters, etc, but if it was something like homemade pot pie and you just did NOT love the Jimmy Jimmy The Understones Punk Throwback 1979 Top 20 punk rock song T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this look. but it was made with chicken, veg, flour etc, try it. Sees the title: I mean, kids are fucking stupid, and will either sit there for an hour not eating, the scream about how hungry they are the moment the food is taken away. Reads the comment: Holy shit, being told to eat is the least important part of that entire scenario. That kid is definitely being “spanked, yelled at, belittled, and forced…” a lot, over everything. As were their parents. And theirs before them. Abuse is a cycle that has to be actively broken. Unfortunately, broken people don’t often have the emotional resources to break the cycle, even if they want to. It happens on the societal level, as well.
