Our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, once said that while he is Catholic and against abortion personally, he would never push that belief on to others, and understands that passing laws based off of personal beliefs is fucking stupid. Imagine that, a politician, or even a human being, who keeps their personal beliefs separated from politics. Americans must be fucking blown away by that. Fuck it I just might move there. I find myself becoming less interested in my home state of Texas with each passing development. I believe states like Mississippi and Texas are trying to pass laws that would make it a crime for a resident to get an abortion in any state. Turn that embarrassment into action. A lot of lives will depend on Americans utilizing the Jimmy carter for president 76 shirt in contrast I will get this true democratic right; protest The Democrats need to make it law that all males get ‪vasectomies‬ then. In order for that to get reversed then a woman has to sign off she wants to have his children. How else can we make it fair and both people have to agree to bring in a child. If a woman can’t have rights over her body then men shouldn’t either. I wonder if there is any scope to sending Canadian doctors to the states to help with under developed nations healthcare like Doctors without borders As a Canadian, I welcome you. It just makes me so angry that in order to do so there are again so many barriers that make the option nigh impossible for many. Cost of passport (and the application process itself), cost of travel/lodging, cost of procedure and aftercare. Cost of taking time off work. Those fucks don’t give a shit if you were raped, if your very life is in danger from a medical contraindication (various cardiovascular conditions, thrombophilias, kidney diseases etc.) – nor do they care about the child once born. Pro life my ass. Hypocritical theocrats the lot of them.

American women will still be able to get abortions in the Jimmy carter for president 76 shirt in contrast I will get this US, but it will depend on which state they live in or how far they will be willing to travel. It’s not illegal, the court decision simply kicks the can back to the states like it was prior to RvW. What needs to happen now is a national push for an amendment securing abortion as a right to be protected by the courts and not a precedent that can be overturned by them. That’s a lovely gesture and I hope it helps. But a lot of women can’t take the time off work to get there and back. If these pro-life, right-wing conservatives & the religious right want to take away abortion, why don’t we take away their back taxes, their tax exempt status, etc.?
