I’ve eaten chicken there twice and gotten food poisoning both times. I didn’t even mention this to my wife, who has a weird sense for things being off in food, and when we were there together (my second and final time eating there), she bit into my chicken sandwich and immediately said “this chicken is really old.” You can never be 100% sure, but 2 for 2 food poisoning + someone with deep food knowledge thinking the Jimi hendrix 60th anniversary 1963 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt Apart from…,I will love this chicken is off is pretty concerning. I have a sensitive taste bud as well as stomach, and lucky me, I haven’t got any bad experience with them yet. But I absolutely hate their drinks Seriously? They’re known for their chicken. Used to eat there weekly for the roast chicken. Used to bring groups for Sunday. Best Yorkshire pudding in Vietnam! Tons of memories. Buffalo wings were so good that the neighbouring Australian Canadian bar literally caused a stink, acted like a baby and sold all of their Hanoi cider product below cost to cut ties.

I don’t monitor these types of things, but nobody in my egregiously huge friend Circle in Hanoi has ever mentioned getting sick to be there. Now when I go there when I’m back in Hanoi, I look forward to having something at Hanoi Cider, whether it be the Jimi hendrix 60th anniversary 1963 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt Apart from…,I will love this chicken or their amazing smash burger. That’s why I find it so odd! I don’t know if I just got really, really, really unlucky or what, because these two trips were over a year apart. I hope you let them know about this. They’re super pro-active and customer supportive and if it was their food/prep that got you ill, I’m almost certain it was a freak occurrence rather than a systemic problem. It’s really surprising. I’ve eaten there dozens of times and always found the food great, service good, place is tidy, servers seem well-groomed and careful, etc. Loads of mates dine there on the regular, too. Never once heard of stomach issues.
