There are Republicans pushing for a national ban after 6 weeks, but that wouldn’t come from this decision and it won’t be signed by this president, even if Republicans win the midterms and can get the bill to his desk. I legit am pissed to, but can we all agree that the Dem’s have used this as a get re-elected token for way too long. Shouldn’t this have been written into law a while ago? I’m just shocked they have trusted court decisions rather than confirming into the law itself. Relying on precedent is bad practice. She remembers poor families who couldn’t afford more kids losing their mothers, widowed husbands grieving for their wives. Young children not old enough to understand. Guy literally trying to man-splain his incorrect “facts” over women’s rights opinion being given by a woman there… ? Stop celebrating abortion, but there’s no question about whether it should be legal or not. Let’s not make the mistake of forcing young women go back to non medically licensed abortions.
