Well, I have family from her district and they are Americans (we voted for her!). And, we are brown, Hindu, and absolutely livid over what’s happening in Gaza. I would say she is accurately representing her people. In the Jerry Jeudy Superstar American football wide receiver for the Denver Broncos T-Shirt besides I will buy this video that she posted where she claimed river to the sea is a call for peace they also literally chant “no peace on stolen land” directly contradicting that she wants peace. The call for a ceasefire is just so Hamas can rearm and help support her goal of ridding Israel from the river to the sea She also never commented once on the rabbi murdered in her district . Also has refused to retract fake news on her Twitter claiming israel massacred 500 ina strike that wasn’t even them, again stoking vicious anti semitism based ona lie Well then… By this logic… Why is the vast majority of the “American” congress members vehemently represent Israel?

: “her people,” as you put it, are the Jerry Jeudy Superstar American football wide receiver for the Denver Broncos T-Shirt besides I will buy this people of Michigan’s 12th congressional district. She was not elected to Congress to represent Palestine right but she is representing their thoughts and opinions is she not. Interestingly no such problem is brought when politicians speak in favor of Israel. Are they representing Israel then? I get that the phrase might have different meaning to different people, but why not just avoid it entirely and still get your point across? Democrats are on the side of specific and inclusive language, so she should be well aware of how offensive and counterproductive her use of the phrase is. It just paints more of us (Palestinians) as ignorant Jew haters. We hate the Israeli government and what they have done to us and for how they brainwashed a large portion of their people to believe about Palestinians. Also, she’s smart enough to develop her own slogan rather than parrot such a divisive phrase. Nah she’s wild for using that river to the sea shit knowing what the other half of it says. Doesn’t mean Palestinians aren’t getting shafted but she’s just spreading shitty rhetoric no better than the other side.
