I’m a fat bloke trying desperately to be less fat. Bought a bike last year. Was having a breather on a bench on a cycle path after doing about 5 miles. There was no one else there and it was school hours so we went in to have some fun, and when we left there was this old guy on a bike waiting outside. He said he was the maintenance man for the park so we thought we were going to get told off but he just said he was glad there were people enjoying it. The funny thing is, I bet the people who say this are the ones who complain that kids don’t play out anymore and are stuck inside on their phones 24/7 The “Coronacopter” as we call it, because the local police loved using it during lockdown and we theorised it was being used to spot people who were outside the house having fun illegally.
