Someone else said they strategically played with a female avatar because people didn’t expect them to be as good and they could surprise the Jaylen Brown Aesthetic Tribute Signature Basketball T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this enemies wirh ‘hidden’ skill. Funny tho that people assume from avatar and how embarrassing for the creepy dudes cause like. You’re hitting on me cause of my avatar ya loser. Never assume. I’m not at all surprised. Women playing men to avoid harassment, condescension, and catcalls—or even just because they want to play the game rather than getting showered with freebies—is common in MMOs now. Final Fantasy XIV in particular has enough of a variety of male options to be especially appealing. And yeah, dunking on grimdark tryhards with a tiny character named Oopsie Boopsie, who has a frilly pink dress and a helium voice, is always fun. If nothing else, it teaches them that you win fights with skill and practice. Weaponized femininity has long been my favorite kind. That’s basically what the troll character was for, before she turned into an actual character.

They’re more aesthetically pleasing. I don’t project myself into games and pretend I’m the Jaylen Brown Aesthetic Tribute Signature Basketball T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this character so it makes no difference to me if the character is a woman. In fallout there was a perk that basically gave you free damage to most every enemy just because you chose female. I usually play as a female because my daughter watches me play a lot of games. She’s a bit older now, but when she was younger I would like to hope it had an impact on her. Strong female representation is never a bad thing. For me, I see it as a chance to be someone I’m not. I can be a dude for the rest of my life, but when I play the Fantasy RPG with magic and dragons and shit, I’m gonna be someone else. Personally I use female skins sometimes because they are generally slimmer build than male skins which also means smaller hotbox I’ve heard maybe I’m wrong though or they were wrong. In terms of Apex Legends ( since it’s the only game i play) . Female legends usually have smaller hitboxes & for some reason amazing abilities. Wraith, Banglore, Loba, Valk, Horizon. They get movement abilities that the men legends don’t get. Rampart doesn’t have movement yet they gave her the biggest gun & walls. For me it oddly helps with my character building and immersion into the game. If I make a male character, I find they always turn into copies of myself, not a lot of variety.
