The opposition did show these tweets. They did talk about such things even in the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt Apart from…,I will love this press conference. The thing is that the media doesn’t show it and the people, the half-dead-sleeping people doesn’t go and see what the opposition has been doing, showing and speaking and the media will never show them on their channels. See it’s not enough to show it once, you have to hammer it. You need to keep it engaged, engage an IT Cell, forward it everywhere. Every show you go just keep on repeating it. Accuse the channel of not discussing whoever the panel is. EVERYTIME. I understand they don’t have paid media power like BJP but they need to have an IT Cell to counter it somewhat. Otherwise they’d be reduced to a minor party which is the direction they are headed to right now. Remember protests for Nirbhaya and how media handled it or the gas prices or common wealth games scam . Congress never stopped media from showing the truth . No political party is saint .

But now not a single coverage . So many rape cases almost worst where the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this victim didn’t even get justice and no protest no media coverage nothing . Even in the highest prices of gas cylinders and petrol media is celebrating this govt . It’s such a shame . How do common people even comprehend i don’t understand Yeah but basic stuff like highlighting this, how they openly support rapists, their MPs/MLAs call for death/removal of certain communitiy. Simple campaigns with nice slogans like “Beti Bachana hai to BJP ko hatana hai” with photos of garlanded rapists and Brij Bhushan. Highlight how 56 inch seens isn’t able to take a single press conference. Show how their playbooks is out of Nazi Germany. Highlight how EDs go after ministers and cases are withdrawn once they switch party. They need to create fear of Modi just like BJP creates fear of other community. Highligh press freedom and how majority of media is owned by Adani Ambani. Give highlights of Adani coal scams, and others.
Like when they were expelled from the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this parliament, they should have held a live streaming mock parliament session where they should have discussed the negatives of bill that was passed without discussion. problem is they neither have brains or are competent enough, look at what they are doing in karnataka. Bjp wins cuz congress is just the worst. Laws that acted as mechanisms for farmers getting good prices were killed through hooliganism. He’s not advocating MSP. He’s advocating good prices. These guys derided politicians such as Ajit pawar and nitesh kumar for so long, calling them corrupt and incompetent. But have now welcomed them with open arms into their party. These guys only care about power and money, not ideology and the country. It’s us citizens who are getting fooled.

An investigation of EC records and financial statements over five years, and surveys by central agencies point to a pattern. Accusations of political funding being no less than extortion have found their way to news headlines in the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this past. An exclusive investigation. At least 30 companies, which donated a total of nearly Rs 335 crore to the BJP between financial years 2018-19 and 2022-23, also faced action by central agencies during that period. Of these firms, 23 companies, which gave a total of Rs 187.58 crore to the party during this period, had never donated any amount to the BJP between 2014 and the year of the raid. At least four of these companies donated a total of Rs 9.05 crore within four months of the central agency visit.
At least six of these firms, which were already donors to the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this party, handed out a heftier amount in the months following the searches. Six other firms, which had donated to the BJP each year before, faced central action after they skipped donations in one financial year. At least three BJP donors, who are not part of the list of 30, had been accused of receiving undue favours from the Union government. Most people don’t understand that. You can buy anything including judges and politicians if you have money or connections It’s good to leave. But whoever is going to remain here must at all costs try for this land our level best to do something good at least in our own neighborhoods. There is a slight sentiment still in my heart for the land for which our great grandfathers and great grandmothers fought for. Whatever happens the emotion must linger for something good to come out of this. Fair enough. I felt the same. Just got tired of constantly being pushed down, in the society, in career, in ideology…. So said fine, worry no more. Our constitutional rights are being murdered in broad daylight and the general public is too blinded in religious fights to take notice. US citizens do not have any animosity towards the British. In fact they are friends in spite of their freedom struggle, manipulation by the Bank of England that effectively enslaved the colonies and many other atrocities committed by the British. This is simply because it happened a long time ago and no one who had that animosity is alive. Few generations to forget.
I guess here we have to wait for people to die. People who demonise external influences and ideas like democracy, freedom of speech with no exception etc. They will die, and India will be exponentially better for it. Now we wait Charlie Chaplin: I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor That’s not my business I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone I should like to help everyone if possible Jew, Gentile, Black Man, White We all want to help one another, human beings are like that We want to live by each other’s happiness, not by each other’s misery We don’t want to hate and despise one another And this world has room for everyone, and the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this good Earth is rich and can provide for everyone The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in Machinery that gives us abundance has left us in want Our knowledge has made us cynical Our cleverness, hard and unkind We think too much, and feel too little More than machinery, we need humanity More that cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness Without these qualities life will be violent, and all will be lost The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men – cries out for universal brotherhood – for the unity of us all Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world – millions of despairing men, women, and little children – victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people To those who can hear me, I say – do not despair The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed – the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people And so long as men die, liberty will never perish Soldiers! Don’t give yourselves to brutes – men who despise you – enslave you – who regiment your lives – tell you what to do – what to think and what to feel! Who drill you – diet you – treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men – machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate – the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” – not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power – the power to create machines The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure Then – in the name of democracy – let us use that power – let us all unite Let us fight for a new world – a decent world that will give men a chance to work – that will give youth a future and old age a security By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise They never will! Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world – to do away with national barriers – to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness Soldiers! In the name of democracy, let us all unite
Yawn, we don’t have freedom of speech in India. It’s subject to “reasonable” restrictions, the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this government and the courts can define whatever they don’t like as unreasonable. When I showed this to my friend his words were ” Isko freedom of speech ni khte h jb country ke against bola jaye”, ” Criticize krna alg aur against bolna alg hota h “. India was so different socially before 2014. There wasn’t this much open hate. Our idea of “INDIA” was Unity in Diversity. That was our beauty. Heck we wrote speeches and essays about that all through school and college, but look how far we have fallen. I think in our country we don’t care about murder of anyone unless its of one of the big shots. Right now ‘freedom of speech’ is not one of them.
Accounts banned were used by influencers and pages funded by Chinese. Government shared list of accounts, spreading Chinese propaganda. Accounts are suspended under IT act 69A. Section 69A of the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this IT Act, 2000 empowers Government to block information from public access under specific conditions of : (i) interest of sovereignty and integrity of India, (ii) defence of India, (iii) security of the State, (iv) friendly relations with foreign States or (v) public order or (vi) for preventing. The problem with Indian responses to protests etc have historically been to stop the flow of information, sec 144 has been used multiple times. And it seems like none of the governments, executives, or judiciary has ever been to suggest a method that does not involve trampling on the rights of individuals.
There is a need for policing norms and processes. censorship of accounts, conversation channels should not happen without permission from courts etc. based on logical documentation provided by the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this executive body explaining why such an act is warranted.
I took a lyft to my bestfriends apartment for a Halloween party. They charged me about $38 the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this guy told me he got $12 Also the driver is the one that has to pay the expenses. Gasoline cost, maintenance, cleaning, and driving to the pickup location. Right so it was probably almost 2 hours for him. Coming to me, dropping me off then going back to the city where we were. I have one of my drivers $40 cash for a 55 minute ride If you went with a regular taxi, the taxi company would pay for the car expenses and the driver would have a proper commercial license, and the company would have proper insurance. As much as I hate Uber and Lyft, if I’d called a regular taxi they’d tell me they’re on the way but never actually show up. Regular taxis have their own problems. It’s the whole reason that Lyft and Uber were able to take over the market so quickly. Well, that and because they intentionally created an unsustainable business model to dominate the market. Now that they have that, the service becomes increasingly shitty and expensive to make up for that investment. Like if you open a restaurant and sell food so much cheaper than others that other places go bankrupt, then you take them over and rise prices all across the boards, while underpaying your employees and overcharging the customers. You can do it because you have driven other businesses out.
Operate at a loss by making it much cheaper than taxis, get the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this market share, increase prices and make up for the profit you lost in the past years. Same with food delivery or streaming basically Also, because they had absolutely no regard for any laws that were in place that would have stopped them their take overs. I’ve had Ubers not show up too. The reason Uber took over the market was venture capital subsidy early on. That’s how most tech startups operate, they intentionally undercut competitors and loose money and stay afloat with cash investments to gain market share early on and later raise prices. Uber was much cheaper than a cab with a nice app when they first became available. Now they cost the same as a cab or even more in some cases. For real. Regular taxis are usually dirty/torn up since it’s not the drivers car, sometimes smell of cigarettes, may never show up, can’t give accurate etas, and don’t have any way of monitoring your location for your safety from shady drivers
Not necessarily. In lots of places taxis, even ones under a large local brand, are privately owned and operated. Simply operating under the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this taxi company’s brand as contractors. I’ve heard stories and they all seem to indicate that it was worse than Uber/Lyft and offered none of the ‘free will’ those services give operators. Now go sit at the airport all night, get maybe one fair and still have to pay the $300 a shift for the cab. My friend ordered a taxi for us for a Christmas party several years back and he was like 90 min late. A blind friend of mine used to wait 60 minutes for taxi pickups. Unfortunately it wasn’t Uber and Lyft being scammy that killed the taxi companies. It was the taxi companies refusal to invest in their own business.
This sort of wage theft on Uber and Lyfts part is very recent too. Drivers used to make 70% and drivers would see what the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this passenger paid too. The rates were also based on per minute and per mile, so you’d see 10 minutes and 2 miles calculated to show your pay. Now drivers do not see what the passenger paid. The rates are not based on just minutes and miles nowadays. There are additional variables, and Uber didn’t even disclose what all of the additional variables are. Uber doesn’t show how they calculated the rates anymore. Think of poor Lyft, who has to pay off all the interest on their business loans that they took out to attempt to run everyone else out of business (unsuccessfully) Does that mean you can write off the 9/10c you pay per gallon at the pump? Or does it mean you don’t pay taxes on the income you spent towards gas? Or both?
If you made 1000 dollars for the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this year, you get taxed on that 1000. If you spent 200 dollars on expenses, you get taxed on 800 dollars instead of the 1000 for the year. I think, please correct me if I’m wrong That’s roughly what I was trying to say with my second case, but I’m trying to suss out all of what you can claim as a driver specifically in the case of ride shares where you’re not a W-2 employee. I think you’re right, though. Ride shares can claim their cellphone bill, wear and tear as mileage or itemize it with receipts for oil changes/tires/gas. They can claim lunch if they eat out. They can also claim drinks/snacks for their passengers as well. All of this goes into a profit and loss (PnL) 1040 Schedule C. Like the other people have stated, the form logs their total profits, then it subtracts all allowed expenses and whatever is left over is the profit or loss. Any profit is then reported as income. You only pay taxes on income.
So with that 18 dollars he will pay for insurance 2 bucks, fuel 2 bucks, drop in value of his car 1 dollar plus 1 dollar other costs. So his tax is 3 dollars so at the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this of the day that trip made him 9 dollars only after all the costs and tax he has to pay. Writing something off means you are claiming it as an expense. You don’t need to pay taxes on the amount of money that you earned but had to spend to keep your business going. Edit with example: I earn 50,000 as a bike courier. I spend 10,000 on maintenance. I worked 200 days and I get to write off 50/day for meals(fuel) And it’s not all gas, if an auditor wanted to be stringent. But they would need their average mpg plus amount of miles while active on the service. Oh yes, that part is important, didn’t realize how unclear my comment was. No one can just write off all the same expenses as business, but all mileage/gas used for the job can. All they really need is the number of miles they drove while on the clock for the job. The standard rate for 2024 is 67 cents per mile. and people treat driver’s like it is black car limo service, butler, whom and whose car they can abuse; i saw an uber driver’s passenger open the door and scratch another car. guess who will pay the bill.
oh and people dump elderly grandparents on uber drivers instead of hiring a medical appointment companion. one Russian guy dumped his grandparents with behavior problems on an uber driver, they got confused and argumentative with the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this driver and got kicked out; couldn’t navigate the app themselves to get another uber or talk to the driver normally. the guy was too lazy and cheap to drive them to an appointment himself, take a day off work, or hire a medical companion; but he was so entitled and blamed the uber driver for ‘leaving his elderly frail confused grandparents stranded on the road in the cold’ and wrote a Boston globe article about it like HE is the victim. Yeah because a taxi would probably be pretty comparable. They tricked us with better rates up front and then made it just as expensive without paying the drivers.
I always knew it was bad when they’d throw around 20-50% off coupons all the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this time. It means 50% of it can come off their side and still be profitable. Other apps that don’t need huge legals teams exist in other countries. I was talking with a driver for one of them who got 70% of the fare. Apparently over there if they gouged the drivers more than that they’d just all agree to move to a different app or they’d do even better and just tell the person to cancel the ride and pay in cash. That’s not how coupons work. Coupons can be loss leaders to introduce a product to new customers. You try it risk (cost) free and hopefully you enjoy it enough to be a customer continuously. Secondly it’s how they get price sensitive consumers. The person who cares about price gets the coupon. The person who will always pay without blinking pays full price. This is how grocery stores sell food at two different prices via coupons. Have money and don’t care? You pay full price for peas. You care enough to clip coupons? Then you care enough to go to our competitor. We’ll beat their price now that you’ve shown you’re willing to put up with inconvenience for savings.
Not really. Coupons at grocery stores are usually manufacturer’s coupons. Part of their ad money for their products, but also they are unlikely to discount it past the Jason Kelce Philadelphia Eagles Philly Our Center Is Sexier Than Your Center Shirt besides I will buy this production cost. A store might discount something to cost or lower if they could upsell them as a near guarantee, but more likely they’d be doing it to unload merchandise that didn’t sell. Coupons for ride shares are also ad money, but they would definitely not pay the driver more than they charged the customer, because we could game the system. In the US they have found they could charge more for items everyday and then give out coupons to bring them down to the optimal price point. When they do this they get both markets and people feel good about themselves for getting a deal that wasn’t really a deal.
