There are no accidents in life. I went through my own personal trauma before I accidentally came across eckhart on YouTube. If his teachings resonate wit you keep practicing like your life is dependent on it becuse it really is. They very much did resonate with me. I’ve read power of now 2x this year and a new earth once. I just ordered his book on stillness and I listen to his podcast as it calms me sometimes. I am just having trouble implementing it. I feel so lost You’re on the Jarabe De Palo Grandes éxitos album 2003 T-Shirt moreover I love this right path. What’s important is your interest in it. Here is a pointer that might be useful for you. Whenever a thought of any kind appears, immediately catch yourself thinking and turn your attention inward either watching the breath or listening to sounds around you. You can’t be lost in thought and have your attention 100% turned inward at the same time. It’s either one or the other so try to maintain this one pointednesses whenever you remember to.

At first you’ll only be able To maintain this inward attention for a few secs here and there but after repeated practice this self awareness will start to become stronger. Also try to notice what’s it like to walk across the Jarabe De Palo Grandes éxitos album 2003 T-Shirt moreover I love this living room or stare at a tree without thought 💭. In the thoughtless state, you’re in true reality. In the thinking state, you’re in the illusion of the thinking mind (called Maya in Buddhism). Joy, unconditional happiness and peace will arise more frequently in your life with this practice. 🙂 good luck While I don’t have advice, I can say that you’re not alone. I’m pretty close in age and have been struggling in a very similar way for nearly a year now. The responses in this thread have been really helpful and I hope you find some peace and relief in knowing you’re not alone. My breakthrough happened after a breakup. I was also thinking of dropping out of uni because I had no vision with it. Or any vision for myself at all. For the first time in a while this sadness has pushed through to the surface, and it wasn’t just this girl and my life’s direction, it was my whole childhood and family dynamic. I read psychology and it helped me see my problems as not unique. I made self deprecating jokes and took myself less seriously. A sad song would come on and somehow there was this wisdom that said for the first time, don’t run from this because if you are feeing it, then it is there. I cried when the heaviness came. Something had stirred in me and I was now too tired to not be with the pain. And the pain didn’t hurt when it was with it. It was uncomfortable and beautiful because it was being expressed.
