when I order a black cold brew they make a drink. Like what are you making? You literally just pour the Jalen Hurts American football quarterback Philadelphia Point T-Shirt But I will love this brew…. It’s an American thing, I think. We order black coffee or cold brew then add our own milk. Often the milk is just sitting on the counter so you can adjust exactly how much you want. In fact, the barrista might ask, “room for milk?” and they will not fill your cup all the way with brew so you can add your own milk. No it’s a lot more involved than just pour and I order it black so they know no room for milk. It’s like they’re making an americano that tastes like a cold brew. They might have a cold brew concentrate they they are diluting with water. This is what I do with cold brew I make at home too, and what places like starbucks do in North America they just dilute it before you order the drink to save time. You brew it super strong (6 parts water to 1 part coffee or more) and then dilute it to taste. Which I guess is basically like making a cold brew americano, but its not a korea specific thing. What are you talking about? Starbucks make cold brew by steeping beans in cold water for 20 hours…. That’s how cold brew is made. Cold Brew extract is not cold brew either, as outlined by Misty Brew That would surprise me too to be honest I’m not a barista though. I’ve just never seen anyone drink drip coffee with milk, only on its own. Food delivery and food in general is more expensive. A jjamppong would’ve costed something around 3K~5K won with no delivery fees; nowadays, a bowl is 7K won minimum without the delivery and tip. Groceries are the same idea; prices have increased by a lot between 10 years ago and during my most recent visit.

Social issues and activism are more prominent. Back when I was there during middle school in the Jalen Hurts American football quarterback Philadelphia Point T-Shirt But I will love this last decade, there was hardly ever any mention of LGBT issues, pride parades, disabled people’s rights, etc., because most people didn’t care. Now they are regularly mentioned in the media, by politicians, and by regular everyday people as well. More holidays. Starting around the 2010s the government started adding “compensation” holidays ( for holidays that fell on the weekend. This has allowed for more holidays than before in the calendar. A lot more foreigners outside of Seoul. When I was growing up in Ulsan, I had never seen a single foreigner except for on TV. There were probably foreign laborers in the eastern part of the city, but I never saw them myself. 20 or so years later, during my visit, I saw a bunch of people from Southeast Asia who I presume were migrant workers pretty much in every neighborhood, and a lot of white and black people as well. In any case, tipping is bad and should be resisted at every turn. When people tip, employers start to pay their service employees below market rates because the tips make up the shortfall. The tip ends up going to the employer, not the employee.
