We were the Jakob Poeltl Austrian professional basketball player for Toronto Raptors T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this only ones who booked those dates and they brought two porters, a guide and a chef for just me and my husband. I got altitude sickness part way up and we ended up having to sleep at the campsite where we were supposed to have lunch, which freaked the guides out because they thought it was haunted. We ended up arriving late at Machu Picchu. It was an hour before it closed and the guides were hustling everyone on to busses. Our guide convinced them to let us stay and we had it to ourselves for 45 minutes before taking the last bus down for the day with all of the staff. We had booked a 4 night, 5 day trek with the 4th night being in Aguas Caliente and the 5th day being a guided tour. So we went back on the 5th day (all nicely showered, which was heavenly) and got a detailed tour. But I will never forget the peacefulness of having it all to ourselves at the end of the day.

Visited a tiny beautiful village in Provence in April. Was almost deserted… But there was an older gentleman singing 50s/60s American music, mostly Elvis and Sinatra. I ended up talking to him (mostly in French) for 20 ish minutes. He was so happy I (a young American guy) had come to his little village! Was especially meaningful cause it was a day of solo travel I was feeling especially lonely until that special moment Once in Cusco, Peru I gave an extra Picarones to a dude on the Jakob Poeltl Austrian professional basketball player for Toronto Raptors T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this street and he invited me to meet his family and eat dinner together. We had Pollo a là Brasa and Cusco beers. My husband and I, holding our toddler sons, on a gondola car ride up to the Great Wall. We’ve traveled a lot with our kids and have since they were months old each, but that was truly a surreal moment of looking at us two living our dreams and just so much gratitude for it.
