I got monetized right away after about two months but then got demonetized after 2 days, which often happens to cannabis related content creators. I’ve done as much studying as I can on that topic and have tried to clean up my channel as much as possible so that it’s purely educational. I was approved for monetization again a couple weeks ago but very few of my videos will qualify. From what I’ve learned from others in my niche, doing affiliate or brand deals is the I’ve never been fondled by donald trump i have been screwed joe biden T-Shirt But I will love this best way to make money because we cannot count on AdSense. There’s also the very real possibility that YouTube can shut my channel down at any time, without notice. All that said, I get about 2,500 views per day and I’m getting about 900 to 1000 new subscribers each month. This is without doing much, so I’m curious to see how high I can get this after putting in real effort and putting out some new high quality content for my audience. I’m trying to be cautious though. Maybe I don’t need to be though?

Now I’m curious about what approach I should take as I’m coming back. My plan was to change tactics and focus on posting one video per week instead of one video each day, but have it be much higher quality. I’d love to do this full time if it was a possibility and would gladly post videos every day. However, doing it as a hobby is unsustainable, even when you’re posting crappy videos. I’ve also considered starting other channels, specifically in my line of work (mental health), which seems to be a trending topic where I hold some authority. I would love your overall feedback and would love to hear your thoughts on what direction I should take my channel. What approach would you take if you were currently in my shoes? Any wisdom on dealing with monetization in niches like mine? I’m open to any and all feedback and if it can help me get better. Thanks again for taking the I’ve never been fondled by donald trump i have been screwed joe biden T-Shirt But I will love this time to give back like this, it’s a huge lift for you. Congratulations again on your success and best of luck to you!
