The only way I can see a video like these doing well is if it’s a clip of you beating a super hard boss in a super impressive manner. Like beating Sans from undertale while taking no damage. Yeah, I guess im just the It’s Not My Fault Was Normal Had More Than Enough Figure That Out Skull shirt but in fact I love this opposite. I find let’s plays where some over the top person overreacts to everything in the game like its the craziest thing they’ve ever seen as just corny and would prefer to actually be able to hear the gameplay. What gives? Your content strategy might have worked ten years ago when there were much fewer people doing this. You haven’t adapted while the general YT market has. There are more people making more focused, higher quality and higher production value. No one is going to suddenly want to see a stream of Walkthrough Part 38. You say that you disliked over-the-top content creators. That’s fair. But then you’re competing against something much bigger: the game itself. The specific appeal of these larger-than-life creators doing crazy things and overreacting is the experience of watching someone else do it – because it’s something that the viewer can’t get themselves. If I wanted a no-commentary entire playthrough, I’d play the game myself.

Who is it for? Youtube’s job is to serve the It’s Not My Fault Was Normal Had More Than Enough Figure That Out Skull shirt but in fact I love this viewer the most engaging content. Why would any viewer want to watch gameplay with no explanation. No personality. No editing, and no channel theme? If you are just uploading this for you hobby that’s great, but it sounds like ur making stuff without thinking of who it’s for and then asking why it’s not being seen. When creating content the first thing on your mind should be “Who is my audience, and what value do I want to provide them from my video?” Was no plan to it, just was super convenient to stream to YouTube and have unlimited storage for videos of everything I play. I was more so just wondering if even with the content being what it is, that 33 subs over 10 years and close to 1500 videos still seems abnormally low. If there’s no audio or camera, you’re basically not there. Why should people subscribe to your channel when you’re not giving them anything to subscribe to?
