Police “swearing to protect the people” is a common misconception. Police swore to protect the laws, not the people. Look it up! There’s no police bible stating they’re to protect the people. When their owners aren’t using them directly for parades or things like riot control, they get bored and look for poor people to “enforce” some laws on. Oh there’s no conspiracy against those they are meant to protect. The corporations and the state are just fine. It’s the rest of us that they’ve conspired against.
