The only store (not grocery store, store in general) in my neighborhood is a Dollar Tree. If I didn’t drive or have the It’s Not A Car It’s Toyota Land Cruiser Shirt and I will buy this means to order things online, I wouldn’t have access to any fresh produce or meats. This is a real problem and that you think it stops at switching from Whole Foods to Walmart is a major part of it. Water is $5/40pack. Eating at a calorie deficit is so easy. Everyone is just too lazy to spend an hour cooking and would rather watch Netflix. People complain about “time poor” but still binge watch The Office for the 7th time. People will go to any lengths necessary to avoid acknowledging that it’s their own fault that they’re overweight.

But it takes storage space. It takes time to prep. If it is cheaper for me to buy healthier food that is what I am buying.
