I was definitely gagged. I thought cara outperformed her but Michael held her own and was the It’s A Band Dad Thing You Just Wouldn’t shirt in contrast I will get this obvious frontrunner out of the two track-record wise so I was fully expecting that double shantay. Like, even as cara was walking away I was like what no kandy wait moment?? They already had two weeks where no one went home though, so I don’t see that there would be any chance for any double shantays at this point. I was gagged! My unpopular opinion is that Cara is one of the best parts of this season, I think it will be a lot less exciting without her. For that reason I thought Ru would keep her as well, but tbh it’s probably better for her fan reception that she left tonight Cara is gorgeous and talented, but I think she falls into the trap of taking herself too seriously. I don’t blame a girl early in her transition for that, but I think she’ll be a much more TV friendly in a few years.

i agree i think cara slayed michael in that lipsync but it really should have been dede v cara. i love all three of these queens but michael was definitely funnier than dede in the It’s A Band Dad Thing You Just Wouldn’t shirt in contrast I will get this challenge even though cara was the worst and dragged michael down a bit I’m also sad to see her go. And crucially, loads of the other queens clearly were. Despite the edit, she obviously had a lot of love. I was surprised and sad to see who the bottom two were and kind of hoped we could be on for a double shantay scenario. Both felt like the sort of people that could have made the finals….can definitely see her making it back for All Stars though I thought Cara won, but it was very tight because they were both excellent. How the bottom two wasn’t Tomara and Dede I’ll never know I am shocked as well. Cara was my favorite after Banksie left. At the first episode I thought Cara, Tomara and Michael were the season finalists.
