answer: They’ve been losing for a long time and trans folks are the It was once my life will always be proud of it shirt and I will buy this last easy target for their bigotry. They can’t indulge their racist impulses, they lost on gay marriage and have been losing a lot of political fights since Trump’s unexpected win. Now all that’s left are trans people. You feel like you’re walking on eggshells all the time, under constant threat of doxxing/harassment/violence if you accidentally crack something in the new minefield of problems with person/person interaction. I had a discussion with some trans people today exactly about the “I have to walk on eggshells all the time” approach. The ones that perform the “I don’t want to set you off” behaviour are Empathy Victims – they’re fishing to be The Ones Who Are Really Being Harmed By Having To Acknowledge & Accommodate LGBTQ People. It’s passive aggressive. They expected LGBTQ people to live on eggshells before, and now they’re trying to pretend that they’re having to live on eggshells now.

It was once my life will always be proud of it shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’m trans; I came out in 2016. Immediately, I was deluged with constant death threats. Sometimes more than one per day. There are three unresolved federal law enforcement investigations into attempts on my life — one of them we know who made the It was once my life will always be proud of it shirt and I will buy this attempt, but they’re beyond US jurisdiction … to the point that they’re hiding in the middle of the Russia-Ukraine war zone, to avoid arrest and extradition. I am not this person’s only target. There’s also entire groups that work hard to terrorise trans people into suicide. We trans people do not care if you accidentally misgender us, or use our deadname on accident or because of a legal requirement to do so. Some of us are upset at the constant deluge of terrorism we’re subjected to. Some of us have PTSD. We all need understanding, and compassion – not passive aggressive shenanigans blaming us for being targeted for persecution. This is a blanket statement that no one person has the authority to make. Many people feel very strongly about these things.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
