Just perspective. I’ve dealt with super attractive people professionally (as a club and radio dj) and personally (platonic and romantic) and have both good and bad experiences related to it. Be rude. People with pretty privilege can get away with saying things someone not conventionally attractive would get called out for. Not saying it’s every time but definitely way more common. Knew a guy in highschool who was majorly obese, close to 400 lbs. He lost weight and legit looked like a model. But his self esteem was so shot that he couldn’t get women. Would freeze up and sabotage any girl that gave him attention Getting discounts of things for free when out shopping. My best friend has pretty privilege kinda of sucks when she gets stuff and I just gets ignored but idrc

I had something similar because I had a very innocent face. People just could never believe I would do bad or evil things. I never really used this because I was a good kid overall but just knowing I had that power felt….well powerful My weight fluctuates due to depressive episodes and I 100% see a stark difference in social interactions. Lots of eye contact and casual touching when I am skinnier. When babies stare at me in public places like grocery stores I always smile and wave and when I am skinny parents tend to say things like “say hi to the It was once my life us navy submarine veteran and always be proud of flag shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this nice man” or some such pleasantries and when I am larger people tend to need something in the other aisle immediately. Most of this is true for about the first five minutes. People with depth who are healthy to hang out with will see past all this and that’s where you’ll find the good stuff. I’m not unattractive, but I still have to respectfully disagree with you. Treating attractive and unattractive people equally is something I have to be intentional about, and unfortunately, I am human, and there are probably times I don’t. I don’t like that I have to think about it, but once again, I’m human, and I have biases. Not everybody will make that conscious effort though, and if they don’t, then I think it’s inevitable they will treat attractive people differently.
